weekly roundup

Hello, friends. This weekend is the 5th Annual Hogs for the Cause Fundraiser and Cookoff, an annual music and food festival that raises money for pediatric brain cancer care. Over 80 teams will compete for your tastebuds and the honor of being declared Louisiana pork champion. Lots of music, too, of course. It’s at the new City Park Festival Grounds, which I hear is awesome. Bring the kids, your lawn chairs, and your appetite! I hope to see you there.

Here are a few things from around the web to amuse you while you “watch” the kids at the park after school today or “participate” in a conference call.

Mothering a dying child, an interview.

Maybe we were wrong about screen time?

Would you walk a day in these shoes?

Pretty vintage girly things.

Of course they can write on the wall!
