My dad would love this: City Park’s new miniature golf complex opens!

When I was a little girl, the one activity my father seemed to always have in his back pocket was a round of miniature golf. As memory serves, my mother never participated in this father-daughter activity. It was our thing. When I walked onto the greens of City Park’s new 36-hole City Putt miniature golf complex, I was met with a wave of nostalgia. My dad would love this.

Looking out at this beautifully designed, thoughtfully executed addition to our fine City Park, I see my own daughters clumsily swinging and laughing and misbehaving alongside their father as he sets out to create a new generation of memories. Their dad will love this.

The Design

City Putt features two 18-hole miniature golf courses inspired by local flavor and iconic Louisiana elements. Think swamp, alligators and music.

One course highlights Louisiana cities, while the other is a New Orleans-themed course featuring our most notable city streets and landmarks.

The landscaping is perfect with miniature bridges, streams and waterfalls. Adjacent to the course is the Great Lawn, a beautiful, open green space perfect for a picnic or a lazy afternoon with a good book. And having Storyland and the Playground on either side makes it easy for entertaining the littlest ones.
