Well, I hope you survived the holidays. It was a good one for us. Low key and understated. And I didn’t overeat, although things are definitely feeling a little snug. I forget that wine is mostly sugar.
Here are some of our holiday highlights. I really hope you had a good one. I know they can be stressful but hopefully you had a few bright lights tied up in there.
We trimmed the tree and broke a lot of ornaments.
Rosabelle, our Elf on the Shelf, arrived from the North Pole.
Anson attended her first wedding and commandeered the flower girl’s flowers.
A wall of New Yorkers on a New Orleans wall.
I turned 37.
We danced around the Christmas tree.
We joined a band.
Emmeline fell in love.
We put things into perspective.
We got crafty.
We celebrated Hanukkah with the specialist of friends.
We mourned.
We picked out dresses.
We went to church.
We hosted Christmas Eve dinner… and invited Texas.
We stayed up late.
We got nostalgic.
We survived.
Did you?
